*This post is a bit late due to internet problems. Better late than never, right?
Happy Holidays everyone! For the past few weeks I’ve been having internet problems so I haven’t been able to post as much as I would like! Astrologically this has been a pretty busy month; We were graced with a Sagittarius New Moon earlier this month (December 13th to be exact) along with unpredictable Uranus ending it’s retrograde phase. What did Uranus stationing direct free you of?
Today brings us a Full Moon in nurturing Cancer. The Asteroid Juno conjuncts the Sun in Capricorn and opposes the Cancer Moon @ 7 degrees, giving us a sense of purpose and a connection to the divine feminine that resides in all of us. This Full Moon is part of a T-Square involving Uranus (sudden) and Pluto (transformation) The wounded/healer Chiron conjuncts dream weaver Neptune and forms a trine to the Moon. We may be feeling extra sensitive and intuitive in certain situations. Remember to trust your instincts.
On Christmas day Mars, named after the God of war and Planet of action entered airy Aquarius. Mars in Aquarius takes an unconventional approach when taking the initiative and I see increased focus on human rights issues and social justice. Mars Sextiles Uranus in Aries @ 4 degrees we may be feeling restless and impulsive, wanting to jump the gun because we’re all craving for new experiences. It seems like all of us are just sitting waiting for something, anything to happen. The last thing we want to hear is the word restriction during this transit. There is nothing wrong with wanting to make changes in ones life. Let’s just make sure we’re not being too erratic when we make decisions. It could all come back to bite on the ass!
Cosmic taskmaster Saturn is quincunx Jupiter in Gemini. Are finances tight? We’re learning to get by on less and we’re not too happy about it! Resources have been limited for many of us and there is a huge lesson in this. I know it feels kind of crappy now, but once the dust settles, you will definitely have an ah-hah! moment. It all comes out in the wash kittens.
Mars in Aquarius is currently conjunct my natal Jupiter in the 4th and trine my Pluto in Libra in the 12th. There has been so much going on in the home front (4th house) My internet has been giving me problems and I’m in the process of giving my apartment a complete overhaul for 2013. Transits to natal Pluto usually bring about some major changes. It’s been all about growth for me, and like the saying goes, a hard head makes for a soft behind. Sometimes one has to learn the hard way, and I’m one of those people. My Uranus on the ascendant makes me a bit stubborn and I don’t always follow the rules!
On January 11th we’ll be seeing a pretty powerful Capricorn New Moon. I’ll be blogging about that in the next few days (If my internet isn’t acting up!)
