This month has quite a bit of cosmic activity going on! Not only will we be experiencing a New Moon in Virgo on September 15th, we will also see lord of the underworld Pluto end his retrograde phase two days later on September 17th. When a Planet stations direct (Moves forward) we are encouraged to move forward as well. This coming new moon in Virgo will give us the precision and organization skills we need in order for us to restore balance in our daily lives. Virgo for me, symbolizes our productive use of energy, how we acquire resources and most importantly service. Mutable in nature, Virgo is adaptable, a perfectionist and self-critical. We’ll all have to take care not to be too hard on ourselves!
Mercury in Virgo touches this new moon encouraging us to be logical problem solvers and its Square to the South Node in Taurus will have us getting control of resources we may have neglected these past few months. The Virgo Moon may have us focusing on our health to the point of obsessiveness. Its as though all of us have been over compensating lately. Virgo hates, and I mean hates failure of any kind. If any sign is good at beating itself up its Virgo. The key is inner balance and knowing that we have done our best. No one is perfect. Unfortunately Virgo hasn’t gotten the memo on that just yet!
The asteroid Pallas in Aries is conjunct Uranus, creating progressive thinking, a warriors spirit and healing through individuality and thinking outside of the box. Pallas was born from her father Zeus a fully grown warrior goddess. Astrologically she symbolizes vision, intelligence and how we express ourselves creatively. Use this energy to find unique ways to earn extra income and set career goals. Mars in Scorpio forms a quincunx (150 degree angle) to Jupiter in Gemini. A quincunx can be an ‘uncomfortable’ aspect, but what happens when we become uncomfortable? We shift gears and take action. If you’re wearing a pair of shoes that hurt your precious feet you don’t keep wearing them! Quincunx’s act like that. They drive us. Sometimes Mars/Jupiter aspects can get us into a little trouble. This pairing can cause us to get a bit carried away and while we all want to be good at what we do (That Virgo perfectionism) we don’t want to be too pushy about it!
My advice to all of you? Be flexible and open to new and unique ways of taking action. Get organized, remove any clutter from your life that serves no purpose (This goes for the people in your life as well) Send out those job resume’s, tidy up that take out menu drawer of yours and take control! You can do it!
